Kevin Everett to Visit The Oprah Winfrey Show
On September 9, 2007 Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett sustained a severe spinal cord injury during the season opener against the Denver Broncos. Everett was in critical condition in the first few days after the game and there was a chance he would not survive, though after examination and surgery he was expected to recover, but it was thought that he would never walk again.
Kevin Everett has surprised his doctors, teammates, fans and now The Oprah Winfrey Show audience and viewers by doing the unexpected! Tune-in Thursday, January 31st to see Kevin Everett, the now New York Giants player involved in the tackle -- Domenik Hixon (who is only 23 and playing his 1st season with the NFL) and Everett's doctor as they sit down to talk with Oprah and Dr. Oz. Talk about inspiring!
