Kirstie Alley's Television Deal with Oprah
Following in the footsteps of Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz, Kirstie Alley is next in line to become a television star under Oprah's wing. People Magazine has reported that the television deal could include a syndicated daily talk show or programming on the new OWN Network.
Kirstie Alley, 57, is best known for her work on Cheers, as a past spokesperson for Jenny Craig, and is a well known Scientologist. President of Harpo Productions, Tim Bennett, shared with People that "Kirstie is a tremendous talent who is incredibly relatable and a true fan favorite."

I think it might turn out to be a good fit. Like Oprah, Kirstie seems fairly down to earth and I’d imagine the viewers would appreciate that.
I have heard of Kristy Alley but what is an Oprah.
