David Blaine just successfully beat the world record for holding his breath under water live on The Oprah Winfrey Show. David's record time was 17:04.4 minutes, though he said he was uncertain if he would make it at the end. Congratulations for achieving your lifelong dream David!
David shared that the next challenge he whishes to accomplish is staying awake longer than anyone ever has - over 11 days, or 1 million seconds - though David confessed that he is afraid of the mission. While experiencing being inside the block of ice, David expressed that he was awake for 3-4 days and had hallucinations, though the most he has ever been awake was for 5 days.
