After hearing about Michael’s death , my first reaction was to go online and look for a comment about it from Oprah . But until this day I have not heard her mention anything .I was hoping like many other people who love Oprah that she would be hosting a show in his memory .
Michael was not just an entertainer , he was a man with a big and soft heart . He wanted good and did a lot of good for the people in need all around the world because he really cared .
I feel as if a part of my youth has just gone with him . He was like a sound track to my life and to many more .And shame on people who are still accusing him even after his death of such horrible acts. I wish they would do just half of what he has done.Let him rest in peace .
You will be dearly missed Michael !

I’m also puzzled that Oprah has not commented on Michael Jackson’s passing. She is someone who most look up to. I certainly do and was looking for maybe some inspirational words from her.

I was really interested to hear what Oprah had to say about his death. I was waiting for Oprah to do some kind of tribute show or something. I wonder what her reasons are for being silent about it…

I can tell you why I think she hasn’t made a statement, I think it is because she was a survivor of molestation and every since Michael was accused of that she had distanced herself from him. She was all about it when she did that big interview but after they accused him, you couldn’t get her away fast enough. She of all people should know how it is to have people around you who use you and say not so true things about you. Shame on Oprah for not trying to seek the truth and act just like others and jump to the worse conclusion, I guess we should have blamed her when that whole school thing in Africa kicked off, people in glass houses should not throw stones!!

I am totally devastated about Michael Jackson’s death. My heart in broken and I can’t stop crying. He was a beautiful angel with a pure soul and I am very disappointed in Oprah for not having a tribute for MJ and refusing to make a comment. She has even gone as far as pulling her interview with MJ off of Youtube not allowing any of us to enjoy it. I think she should air this interview ASAP and try to reach out to the millions of fans worldwide who are really hurting over this. Oprah please help us heal by breaking your silence.

(7) Elizabeth says:

MJ could have asked freely the ever loving and forgiving God for help instead of seeking fellow human beings armed with knowledge and qualifications; subspecialty fellowship- trained and board certified, with the supposed intelligence; but having little empathy, compassion and devoid of efficacious solution for the price he paid them. Instead, his look became unpleasant as the result of multiple and too frequent unnecessary treatments and the required concommitant excessive drug administration became too difficult to wean, and in the end killed him

(8) SpirytSista says:

I agree eva. She wants to act self righteous like she would never allow a child to be abused, and she ended up doing it. She built a school for those South African girls and they ended up being sexually abused!

After something like that, she could at least have some humility. I am so dissappointed in Oprah. I am no longer watching Oprah

(9) deborah says:

I’m really disappointed about oprah also. Oprah can’t judge nobody, because she is shacking up with a man that don’t respect her enough to marry her. She is not setting good examples for young women of the workd today.

Its been more than a month to Michael Jackson’s passing and it suddenly dawned on me that Oprah, that seemingly top media talk showhost has not even commented on his death. I did a search and realised she has even interviewed him previously! So it got me thinking, perhaps she is just a fake. Someone whom supports someone when they are famous so then by rubbing shoulders with the “IN” character she becomes IN too. So much for all that pretending to be everyone’s best friend and charity work. Oprah, you are a disappointment

I am PROUD of Oprah for not commenting on his death! He was a paedophile. Because he is dead, people are making out like he was a god! He wasn’t! He was a great singer and dancer, there is no question about that. It’s unfortunate that in this world we live in, people are revered because they’re celebrities, regardless of what kind of human beings they are! Michael Jackson had huge emotional problems and a SICK interest in little boys!!Oprah would be making herself look bad if glorified a paedophile!

Jo it’s close-minded, judgemental people like you that greatly contributed to the demise of Michael Jackson ? How dare you! You aught to read “Michael Jackson Conspiracy” by Aphrodite Jones. This is a book of Highly investigated facts.I can haedly believe that so many people have missed-out on the true spirit of Michael. It’s such a shame people suck-up to the lies of the media too.

(13) cawobeth says:

excuse my typos. Anyway, as far as Oprah is concerned, it looks & sounds like she’s got more than a follow-up to a 21 day fast on her plate.
I’ve gone from believing, to hoping that she honors Michael Jackson humanitaian once Michael is buried since she herself is such great humanitarian (?). After checking recent events on her radio show, by G.King & L.Berman, I am quite disillusioned.

(14) Jo says:

Cawobeth, it was Michael Jackson himself who led to the demise of Michael Jackson!

(15) Sadden says:

Oprah is a big disappointment! I am not one of her fans, and never was. She just appears to care about some people. And Michael J. Jackson as well as all of us, including Oprah has to answer to God one day for anything we have done to dishonor Him as God. And that is a fact. Oprah needs to listen to “Man In The Mirror’. None of us has a right to judge anyone. Michael Jackson was a sweet soul, and I will continue to pray for his children and his family. Oprah needs a lot of prayer, her money will do her no good in the day of judgement!!!!!

(16) Gabiz says:

I think her silence shows to me how much of a coward she is, a social chameleon that is having group of people research what the general public opinion of MJ is before stating a comment. Or if indeed its due to the ‘false allegations’ that tainted her view of him then she has lost what little respect I may have had for her. Perhaps someone should recommend to her book club Aphrodite Jones: ‘Michael Jackson conspiracy’. Oprah owns MJ for opening the doors for her career!

(17) Gunngirl says:

Jo, you SHOULD read “Michael Jackson Conspiracy” or at least get facts straight before spewing more hate and lies about Michael Jackson. It is people like you who ruin his world by continuing to judge when one has been found innocent–with no evidence of a conviction to begin with.

And while I know Oprah didn’t know Michael that closely, and I know child molestation is deeply sensitive for her, I would like to think that she, like the rest of us, could see how this was nothing by extortion and a conspiracy. She’s Oprah, she could have called him and talked to him. To just believe the lies is ruthless. Michael has his issues, but being a pedophile is not one of them. The freaks are the people who can’t see this.

Gunngirl
GOOD FOR YOU !
Serious.
I’ve been plugging that book ever since & still do. More & more people need to know the truth !
People should also see Video “the Untold Story of Neverland” on youtube or purchase it from nimmer.net !!! That’s the quick FACTS.
Oprah reads a lot so, she doesn’t need the video, right gunngirl ?
hmmmm…Oprah, oh so curious.

we’ll seeeee Oprah Sept. 16th ???

i sure hope she does more that show clips of previous interviews.
Her favorite subject matter is soul so, let’s hear some truth & humility. . . . . . .

(19) Elizabeth says:

I don’t know about her, I have a lot of suspicions about her. She said nothing when he died and obviously, some of us got the picture why, however, in this article I read on the internet called “Oprah refuses to talk about Michael Jackson” and according to the writer he said that a good friend of Oprah’s told him she would talk about him because she believed he was a “Child Molester”. Now all of a sudden Oprah decides to have a tribute to Michael Jackson. Why? Because she may have read Aphrodite Jones book and feels bad or because her ratings have gotten low that she needs a Michael Jackson pick me up for her ratings? She’s just like Diane Dimond, the reporter who started it all, she went downhill herself, however, she continued to use any situation that involves with Michael Jacksons name. I hear her book isn’t selling to well about Michael Jackson.
