Sarah Palin Coming to The Oprah Show in November

Tuesday October 27, 2009

Oprah and former Alaska governor Sara Palin will be meeting for the first time on The Oprah Winfrey Show in mid-November to talk about Palin's memoir Going Rogue: An American Life, which is set for release on November 17, 2009.

As John McCain's running mate for the 2008 election, many Republican viewers hoped to see Palin have a chance to appear on Oprah during the campaign to counter Oprah's very public support of Barack Obama. It is possible that Oprah lost fans during that period since it was the first time she had ever spoken out politically on her show. Making it a point not to let either side use her show as an actual platform, Oprah did not invite either party to appear or speak.

This episode will definitely be interesting, as it has the potential to be a positive experience for both sides and viewers, or it also could be official and bring additional backlash to Oprah from her conservative viewers. Do you plan on watching the Oprah-Palin interview? Did Oprah not having Palin on the show during the presidential election influence your viewership? I plan to watch the Palin interview but I would not care if she never had Palin on her show. I absolutely love the President and I shudder to think if Sarah Palin was EVER in the White House. Our President has more challenges than any Presidents before him. He is kind, sincere, intelligent, a good father and on and on. Taking out the good father remark, I do not think Sarah Palin is any of these things.

I am looking forward to the Palin Interview. I was dissapointed that Oprah endorced a political candidate ANY, political candidate. And though I agree Obamma is a NICE man, I don’t think he’s qualified as the President. Hilary would have made a MUCH better President for our times, leaving Far Left politics out of governing the country and without the Chicago “Mob” that is helping him make decisions. I am interested in Palin not as a Presidential Candidate, but as a REAL person spotlighting some of the BS and Corruption that’s rampent in Politics today.
