Responding to Twitter comments about her Penn State/Sandusky intro on Tuesday, Rosie opened the show last night, not with comedy, but with a message to viewers to not think of themselves using their voice as brave, but as a right we have to share how we feel, and to teach our children to do the same.
Empowerment was also a part of guest Jenny McCarthy's visit to the show as she spoke about her fight for autism awareness, prevention and treatment. There were plenty of laughs last night during the hour show, but both Rosie and Jenny conveyed their passion for the well-being of children throughout it all because their humor and concern both come from a place of truth and love.
