In this month’s O The Oprah Magazine, be sure to check out “The O List” -- a collection of products that Oprah and her team think are hot right now. While the list is a regular section in each issue, the December edition boasts 13 pages of gift ideas -- the largest assembly the magazine has every had -- just in time for the holidays and beyond as great birthday, anniversary or any day presents. Prices range from under $25 to, as the magazine puts it, “Over the Top” because, well, they are.

My favorite gift idea would have to be the cupcake mix -- yes, I said cupcakes -- in the $25 and under bunch. William and Sonoma is offering 5 varieties of Sprinkles Cupcake mixes from “The Original Cupcake Bakery” in Beverly Hills. Chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, peppermint and lemon are available for $14 and each canister makes 12 cupcakes, with a recipe for frosting included on the package. If you have never heard of Sprinkles, it’s an LA phenomenon and has been featured on such reality shows as E!‘s Girls Next Door. Don’t be discouraged if you live across the country, Sprinkles now has 5 locations, with 16 more coming soon!

O Magazine’s December theme is Comfort and Joy -- which is fitting because having access to a Sprinkles cupcake at any given time, is guaranteed to bring you comfort and joy!
