Oprah Talks to Julie Potts

Using the digital camera from Pure Digital she gave to the studio audience, Oprah called Paul's wife Julie to the stage. Julie discussed how her husband was hit by a car while riding his bike home from work before he was on Britain's Got Talent. It was a tough time for the couple as Julie both worked and nursed her husband to health. Julie went on the describe her feelings while watching her husband perform on the show, all the while thinking, "Simon, please be nice."

Paul Joins Oprah and Julie

When Paul joined the stage, Oprah asked Paul what it felt like to be famous now, to have people analyze you -- Paul responded citing the advice he received from Simon Cowell -- don't change, be yourself.

How Paul and Julie Met

When asked how he and his wife met, Paul described their first meeting on an internet chat room. When they finally met in person, it was at a railway station in England, Paul even remembers the exact day and time -- February 2, 2001 at 10:08.

Paul's Love of Singing

Earlier on the original broadcast, Paul Potts had discussed his love of singing at an early age in his school choir. When Julie was asked about Paul's singing at home, she revealed that he sang at their wedding, but also, like many people, enjoys singing while bathing.
