The Beginning - The Oprah Winfrey Show:
After five years and more than 50 episodes filmed together, viewers came to love and trust Dr. Oz as America's Doctor on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Finding success with having each Tuesday feature a new topic with Dr. Oz, fans of the show were able to be entertained and also be informed at the same time - some even saving their own lives with the information that was provided. With the success of Harpo with The Dr. Phil Show and The Rachael Ray Show, it seemed natural that Dr. Oz was ready to step out and hold his own with a daily syndicated daytime talk show.
The Dr. Oz Show is a twist on the standard daytime talk show format. While the show brings an engaging host in front of a studio audience, the topics and style are a bit different. The show combines an interesting mix of health topics with viewer questions and basic medical advice. Dr. Oz works on one main stage, moving freely with his guests to show video and live examples. The Dr. Oz Show runs for 60 minutes, Monday through Friday during the regular television season of September through May.
Dr. Oz Show Topics:
