The Beginning - The Oprah Winfrey Show:

Rachael Ray first started appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show during the 2004-2005 season. Oprah welcomed Rachael to the show to share her special style for quick and easy meals and party planning ideas with viewers. Soon after getting a huge response from Oprah fans, the 2 began a joint production project starring Rachael Ray. After the success of the Oprah spin-off The Dr. Phil Show, The Rachael Ray Show was bound to be a hit with the national daytime audience.

Show Format:

The Rachael Ray Show is a twist on the standard daytime talk show format. While RR brings an engaging host in front of a studio audience, the topics and style are a bit different. The show combines an interesting mix of lifestyle topics and a cooking show. Rachael Ray works on multiple main stages while the audience turns along to follow on a rotating floor. The Rachael Ray Show runs for 60 minutes, Monday through Friday during the regular television season of September through May.
