Suze Orman received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1976.

Previous Employment:

In 1980, at the age of 29, Suze began working at Merrill Lynch as an Account Executive, where she remained until 1983.

From 1983-1987, Suze was the VP of Investments at Prudential Bache Securities.

In 1987, Suze began her own company, Suze Orman Financial Group, which she ran until 1997.
